Climax International School started with Nine (9) children and three teaching staff on 13th September, 1993 at Akpodiete Street, Ughelli, Delta State, Nigeria.
The first head teacher of the school was Mrs. Ighobesuo while Comfort Osadjere was the assistant head teacher. The school was approved by the Delta State Ministry of Education Headquarters Asaba in 1996. In 1998, the School turned out her first set of granduands after writing the First School Leaving Certificate Examination. Amongst these pupils were (now) Barr. Aghogho Akpojotor, Dr. Ufuoma Odjegba, Barr. Ejobo Omene, Rita Adjeke and Eloho Anote.
The school has since 1999 commenced Climax Secondary School which has been doing very well.
It has a vibrant Old Student Association with Mr. Emuesiri Moke, lecturer in the Department of Pharmacology, Delta State University as president.
The present Administrator of the school is Mr. Emmanuel Igbinika while Owah Kelvin is the head boy and Rotimi Sylvia is the head girl.
